Who I am?

I am  DOULA DEB

I support and guide new parents and help them see beyond the diapers, bottles, and late nights. I help shift the lens of a parent and dig into the soil of building a family. Helping them grow, 

inter-culturally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and generationally.

Because Education can be a stepping stone in generational building I also recruit and work wit college alumni at College Unbound, a non-profit organization dedicated to reinventing the higher education experience for undeserved adult learners located in Providence, Rhode Island. Prior to joining College Unbound, 

Mrs. Jonfelix worked as a Multicultural Perinatal Doula for over twenty years, a Women's Ministry Leader for Providence County Church of Christ for more than twenty-five years, and as well the Birth Educator and Doula for Nowell Academy also in Providence. Mrs. Jonfelix is a College Unbound alumna, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and Change. 

Mrs. Jonfelix serves on several committees including the Women and Infants Executive Quality Committee and Women and Infants Community Advisory. Mrs. Jonfelix is also a social impact entrepreneur and the owner DouBaby, LLC.
